One of two decidedly different celebrity endorsed titles featuring veteran NBA superstar player Shaquille „Shaq“ O'Neil. Shaq Fu is a beat 'em up in which our hero visits a little backstreet shop and winds up playing hero in another dimension, Street Fighter style. While en route to a charity game in Tokyo, Shaq (AKA basketball star Shaquille O'Neill) is drawn into an alternate dimension by a local man who believes only Shaq can save his grandson. Once there, he must fight a succession of 11 opponents, one at a time, with gameplay resembling Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Kombat. The game's graphics used early motion capture technology, and Shaq's 7'2„ frame is represented. As well as the story mode, you can play individual fights, either with 1 or 2 players, although one human player must always be Shaq (similarly to the droid in Rise of the Robots).
