When the screen turns black after the Walt Disney logo, circle CLOCKWISE round the Directional Pad. A sound will be heard if the cheat is done right. When you start the game you will be able to select a level.

Fight the boogle-eyed snake, Kaa, and defeat Shere Khan the hungry tiger in this exciting adventure based on Disney´s classic ! It´ll drive you ape crazy ! The Jungle Book is actually just another adaption of a famous Walt Disney movie for the Master System. You are playing Mowgli, a boy set out in the jungle, raised by wolves, who now tries to find his relatives. Like in the movie Mowgli´s friends, Balou the bear and Baghera the panther are helping Mowgli to defeat the bad guys, as they are Louie, the monkey king, the snake Kaa, and the evil lion Shere Khan. The game itself is actually a pure Jump`n`Run. As you would it expect from a Tarzan-like jungle-boy you are jumping from tree to tree, collecting fruits, and defeating the evil snakes and monkeys by throwing bananas at them. But you also have stages where you are climbing up huge trees, abusing your mate Balou the bear as a boat, or where you are jumping from elephant to elephant in order to reach the end of the stage. But over all it´s a classic jump´n´run with no certain special features or surprises. Where you have finished the first levels by collecting a certain amount of gems, it´s your only objective to reach the end in the others. Even the boss-fights are as you can await from such a game quite easy. The boss has his attacking patterns, you´ll need to avoid him and try to hit him hard. On the upper left of the screen is the image of a snake. This snake is your life-meter. Whenever you are hit the snake looses a part of its tounge. If the tounge is gone the snake-head begins to flash, and if it´s totally gone: good bye Mowgli. Should you fall into a gap or into a river you´re instantly dying. Throughout the game you have five lives and one continue. Bye collecting hearts you can fill up your life-meter, and by collecting a Mowgli-head you´ll get an extra life. The controls are excellent, and also Mowgli is moving very precisely, so that you don´t come in any jumping-trouble. […] This version of the Jungle Book, is like many other disney licensed titles a very solid game with considerable graphics, nice music, and no remarkable flaws.
